Youth Information Centre, Zanzibar
Work on the site restarting - October 2006
The Zanzibar project consists of the establishment of a Youth Information Centre at a strategic location in Zanzibar town. The vision is for this centre to be a meeting place for young people of all backgrounds and the location is extremely useful for all. The plans are to run an internet café, a kindergarten, and work among children, led by the local Scripture Union staff worker. The Trust have made grants to the centre and also have been instrumental in obtaining financial assistance from other partners.
